A very important part of the Humane Society's mission is to reduce animal suffering caused by overpopulation through a subsidy program for Greene County pet owners to obtain spay/neuter surgery for their pets. The program is income based on how many "human" members are in the family. It covers many mid-level income families and is not exclusive to low/or no income. Cats can cost as little as $25.00 and dogs costs are based on weight, as low as $36.00! To see if your family qualifies for assistance call our office @ 937-376-3001 and leave your name and number for someone to call you back with a price quote.

50/50 Special for Greene County residents!
All dogs weighing 50 pounds or over will cost just $50.00 to be spayed or neutered!  This special will only be offered during the months of July and August! Call today to see if you qualify to receive this great discount for your dog!

We are now offering an addition to our regular low cost spay/neuter program!   It is specifically for cats who live outdoors in an effort to help them maintain the best quality of life by not reproducing into uncontrolled numbers!  The cost is only $15.00 for a male cat and $20.00 for a female!  So far we have altered over 600 cats through this program.  If you are a caretaker of stray, feral (domestic animals gone wild), barn, or neighborhood cats, or know of anyone who is, please contact us for more details!  We also have humane traps and carriers available to loan for your convenience.  Don't forget, this is an ADDITIONAL program!  Our regular service for dogs and cats is always ongoing.
