Since the Humane Society of Greene County is one of the
few approved livestock investigation agencies in Ohio, we do sometimes take horses and livestock into our care.
Once we evaluate the animals, we then place them up for adoption to go to approved homes.

Horse looking for a New Home
Sadie Rose
is a healthy, sweet 21-year-old quarter horse with good manners. I adopted Sadie seven years ago from the Humane Society
of Greene County and she has been a true joy in our lives. She gets along well with other animals, loves to “mother
those in her charge”, and enjoys being brushed and fussed over. She has not been ridden in the seven years I have had
her (I do not ride.) Some personal health problems and changing family dynamics make it difficult for me to give her the attention
she deserves. All we ask in return is a sincere promise that she will be loved and well taken care of in her new home, and
that her new owners make a monetary donation to the Humane Society of Greene County for all the wonderful work that they
do. For more information, or if you would like to meet Sadie Rose, please call Jan at 937-372-1134 or email at jmbowman@core.com

Juliet is
a beautiful registered painted miniature horse. We do not have her papers. She was born in 1989. She is a bit shy
and she is always with "Romeo". He is also listed on this site below. They have been together almost their whole life. I will not
separate them. Juliet wines if she can't find Romeo. They are up to date on shots and are very good with the ferrier.
Her hooves have been trimmed since this picture was taken. Easy to take
care of and no vices. My kids are grown now and have lost interest. Must go to a good home. They would be beautiful in a parade. They are about the same height of about 34".
