Helping Us Help Them

Unwanted and abandoned cats & dogs either end up in the shelter or trying to fend for themselves on the streets, both of which are very sad situations. Part of our mission is to prevent either of these scenarios from happening by offering low cost spay & neuters! We also have wonderful Humane Agents who work with the community in responding and taking action with situations concerning potential abuse or neglect of livestock. The Humane Society of Greene County runs a small food pantry for low income families that has helped many dog and cat owners keep their animals rather than relinquish them to a shelter.
