Our History
The Humane Society of Greene County has been in existence since 1961. Throughout the years it has helped animals and people in a variety of ways. Currently, we work to prevent animal suffering through our spay/neuter subsidy programs by controlling the overpopulation of dogs and cats. We also prevent livestock abuse and neglect by the enforcement of the laws contained in the Ohio Revised Code. Education is available through individual counseling or group events and can cover any aspect of humane treatment of all animals.
