Livestock Investigations


Many of our livestock investigations are due to your reports.  If you suspect that abuse or neglect is occurring to any livestock, please contact us immediately by filling out the form below or by calling (937) 376-3001.
The office is not staffed at all times, but the phone messages are retrieved everyday.  Please leave a detailed message so that we can assist in a timely manner. 


                                                 You will need to contact  Greene County Animal Control 
                                                                   if you need to report abuse/neglect
                                                                                     to a CAT OR DOG!  


Volunteers needed for Livestock! 

The Greene County Sheriff's Office in conjunction with the Greene County Humane Society is looking for volunteers to assist when needed for both animals at large such as, horses, cows, etc. when no one can be reached at the time for both transport and temporary housing and for animals when confiscated due to neglect. If you can help in the area please contact Detective Gilbert at 937-562-4813

Please provide as much information as you can in your complaint of abuse or neglect. Including an address with street number of the suspected neglect/abuse will allow us to assist in a timely manner. Your dedication to humane issues is appreciated. If you have provided your phone number or e-mail, we will keep you up to date on the report.
